I'm a calorie freak
Lately, I've started camping in the office again. Despite the long working hours, I managed to squeeze workouts in between busy work schedule.
Sometimes expected things happen, whether it is at work or it is the weather. In order to be prepared, nowadays I spare running clothes and swimming gear in my car. So when something came up last minute, I am flexible enough to switch between running and swimming. It's good that we have an indoor swimming pool in the Bayan Lepas area, at least there's something to do even when it is pouring cats and dogs outside.
The weather last week was not very runner friendly. It was raining almost every evening on the week days. I managed to do one swim and 2 late night treadmill running sessions in the gym. I haven't been running in treadmill since long time ago.
Although the run I did in the gym was only about 5k, it felt good that at least I did something. I think exercise helps me to clear my mind off of stressful things. It helps to divert thoughts to some other stuff. And I gotta tell you, I'm starting to love those showers in the office gym. I think I should start to look for the kind of shower head they have in the shower room and get it install at my house.
I think I'm slowly turning into a calorie freak. I felt guilty whenever I eat too much or when I skip exercise.
But then again, I still love good food and are still eating them...it is the guilt that's making me uncomfortable :P
Run more, swim more...then can eat more...without guilt...hehe
