KL short trip
I was in KL during the weekend.
I was supposed to be in KL for the US embassy interview on Monday (today), thinking I could at the same time meet my KL friends during the weekend, I told Wen that I will be staying with her from Fri nite until Monday morning when she'll send me to the LRT station. She agreed. But at the last min, things doesn't turn out the way I planned. The interview had to be postponed to another week. Seeing that I've already promise to give my friend a visit, I doesn't want to let her down.
First night in KL, I was brought to meet up with ShiauHui, CheeKoon, PengSoon and Wen. Not a very big crowd, juz nice for chatting and updating each other with their current news. This round to KL was to meet my secondary schoolmate. There are still many of them in KL, I was only meeting a few of them coz it would be difficult to talk if bigger crowd were to join.
We meet up in Station 1, Puchong. The place was crowded even though it was almost reaching midnight. When we were about to leave, Boon Kit walked into the place. It was a surprise to bump into him there, KL so big also can cross path, must have been fate. I have not seen him ever since we left school 6 years ago. He looks like a manager now, almost couldn't recognize him.
I spent the night at Wen's place. We were so tired we ended up having only 3 mins of pillow talk and both of us dozed off almost immediately.
The next day, we went to Alamanda Putrajaya for lunch with ShiauHui.
She had to work that day, so we went to her work place to look for her. Furthermore, I have never been to Alamanda before.
Alamanda is located in Putrajaya, it takes about 25 to 30mins driving from Puchong using the Litrak highway. It was not a big shopping complex, only 2 storey, which also housed Parkson and Carrefour. We had lunch in the complex and after that had a walk at the park outside. The weather was gloomy that day.
That night, the few of us meet again at SS2 Murni (i wonder if this is the correct spelling). This time again we have Wen, CheeKoon and ShiauHui, we were also joined by ShiauHui's bf and YuenFei. YuenFei still has his old look, not much changes though.
This Murni place was so full of people. The table were placed on the corridor and taken away half of the road. The rows of table were laid along the corridor of more than 5 lot of shophouses! Maklumlah, Saturday nite mar...
That night I spent the night at Wen's place again. We had more time to talk that day. It's those girl talk that I've missed so much...it's the time when feelings and secrets were shared. It's a good way to release something out after keeping it to own self all this time. Hrmm...the last time we met was CNY 2007, which is about 7 months ago. That would be quite a large collection of feelings, you know ;P
On Sunday, it was time to leave. I was to meet with Uni friends today in Low Yat. Wen and CheeKoon fetch me all the way to Sungei Wang for me to meet up with Daniel, ShinEe and Iek. Even though I insisted they can just dump me at the nearest Lrt station where I can go to Low Yat on my own, they still drive me there. We were there a bit too early after breakfast, so they accompany me until the other arrive. Wen and CheeKoon left when the 3 of them reach Sungei Wang.
Iek just came back from Seremban the night before. The last time I see him was during convo in August 2006. We had some update on technology stuff walking in Low Yat while at the same time update each other on personal details. After the walk, had a lunch at the food court and we go our separate ways. I follow Daniel and ShinEe as we'll be heading back to Penang after Daniel get pack.
Although it was a short trip, I'd say it's a sweet one. I was very well taken care of during my stay in KL. But I do feel uneasy when it comes to paying for meals. They never want to let me pay for anything, threatening me with anything they can come up with, not even for a little ice-cream treat.
Lastly, I know none of my secondary schoolmate reads my blog, but I wish to thank them for spending time with me when I was there, and treating me to good food. An extremely big thank you to Wen for letting me to stay at her place during the 2 nights in KL.
