Flying photos

Due to request from my department's colleague, I shared some of my recent LA photos in my Penang's PC (Yes I can access my Penang PC from US). Sharing the photo directory meaning anyone within the company's network who type my PC's name will be able to see my shared directory and can access them.

Another of my colleague who is also here with me had her photos in the directory as well. She knows about the photo and agreed to share the photo to our department. 2 weeks after the sharing, she IM me one night, telling me that our photos had reached Motorola. How did our photos manage to fly over to the company opposite ours?

2 thoughts in my mind:
1. Downloaded from my online photo album/blog.
2. Someone from my company had been distributing them.

I don't know which of the above assumption is true, nor did i know which photo(s) is in Motorola. But I do know that this colleague of mine is not the kind that will share/allowed her photo to be visible online. When she IM me, I don't even dare to let her know that I have 2 photos posted online with her face in it. :P

As for me, it was not a surprise as I have a blog of my own and had been posting photos of myself online, for sharing purposes with friends. I don't mind strangers taking a look at the photos online, but I do feel a bit uneasy if people were to distribute it from company to company, probably using email or USB drive. Isn't that a kind of privacy breach?

Anyway, I've edited the 2 photos posted in blog and deleted another one shared in the online photo album. In the future, you guys will get very boring because only photos with my face will be posted :P
