Another candle added

2 days after my birthday, a friend ask me: "How did you celebrate your birthday this year?"

Not much really, no big celebrations to go with, instead only small scale dinner and lunch with a few close friends.

The first lunch was with the Sept babies, Daniel, Leang and I went out for a simple Hakka mee lunch. Leang is always so busy with work and visitors and stuff. A lunch with her would need 2 to 3 weeks pre-booking. Daniel and I tried to make an appointment with her before her birthday, and it was until last week that we were entertained, which is 2 and a half weeks later. -_-"

Second in line was a dinner with the group of KUiTTHO friends in Penang on Sunday. Dinner attendees: ShinEe, Yau & gf, Teng, WeiLiang,WahTee, Dodo, ZhiYong and of course Daniel and me. Hope I didn't miss anyone out, we didn't manage to get a group photo. Too bad this time around, our dailou PoiLam cannot make it as he was in KL. The attendees bought a beautiful chocolate mousse cake from Coffee Bean. It was a beautiful cake, too bad it was too sweet for my liking.

My name, which I ate into my stomach

On the day of my birthday itself, colleagues treated me to a lunch at a restaurant somewhere near Queensbay, I forgot the name of the restaurant :P

That's about all. That's how I celebrated my 24th birthday.

Things to ponder:
Life's a cycle. When we were a kid, birthday was always a BIG life event, we'll have party, cakes, candles, birthday presents and a lot of friends and relatives to celebrate with. As people grow up, birthday becomes less important. Only when they are in their 50's then the meaning of birthdays will become meaningful all over again...

Happy Birthday 24th to me! :)
I have been through 2 cycles of the Chinese zodiac.
