One year with iPod Touch
Update: I posted this entry more than a week ago. I then found out that some1 copy a portion of my post and put it in his blog then under 'Read more...', he link back here. I decided to remove the post so that he will not be able to successfully link to this post, hoping he would then remove my post from his blog. He did not do that, I'm disappointed. On another thought, since I've finished this post, i'm heavy-hearted to delete it just like that. Might as well just post it up. Is his action consider stealing?
It has been almost a year since I've owned an iPod Touch. Having an iTouch that have not been jailbreak, there are limited things I can do with it. Some of the functions that I often use are:
1. The most classic thing of all, I use it as a music player. Now that I have the cable to connect iTouch to my car player through the AUX connection, I get listen to music on my Touch while driving without covering my ears with the earbud. Using earbud when driving is dangerous as the earbud that I have totally filter out external noise. (I have this great Sennheiser earbud bought from US)
2. When I travel to Bali few months ago, I treat iTouch as a calculator. The 3.5in screen is just nice for a full size calculator, much better than using a handphone. During the family getaway, using it as a music player is totally inappropriate because being with family members, of course you'd want communication to get going. How would you do that with an earbud stuck to your ears?
3. Wifi connection. Useful when traveling. Other than that, there is no reason to online using iPod Touch when you have 15.4" laptop.
4. Sleep timer. This is totally useful. I listen to songs on iPod while sleeping. Set the sleep timer to 15mins and just doze off while music is playing. I used this almost every morning. (See here if you're curious on why I use it in the morning instead of at night)
5. When I jog or go to the gym alone, I'll bring it along. But sometimes I think it is a little too bulky for jogging. Anyway, I have an armband and sometimes I bring it along to jog.
4. The world clock function is not very often used but only for emergency. Maybe there is live telecast in other countries and you'd want to find out what time would it be in our country. If you have a laptop or handphone with you, finding that info would be as easy as ABC. No need for an iTouch.
Well, I guess that is all I do with my iPod Touch nowadays. Looking forward to jailbreak it very very soon.
Kinda regret why I did not choose to buy an iPhone instead :(

do you read last three weeks, sin chew daiy's sinchew plus? may be on last 3 weeks newspaper, but i have forgoten when. that issue is about new multimedia, publish on everyday Wednesday, there have mention that how people steal the other blog or article from original blogger and put in his/her's blog as create by he/she.
your blog must be always renew and always update. and be careful of your comment, don't let other take your name to upload a comment. It might let ppl confuse and not sure that comment is really from this blogger or from anonymous.
when you set up a blog, you must know you are taken a risk of your blog. because others might steal, or attack your blog.
