My neighbour bought Wii
He has had it for about 2 to 3 weeks.
Every time I went out or came back home, I can hear my neighbour playing. I would usually take a peek, and I saw him playing different games. His games look so much more fun compared to those we have in Altera Clubhouse.
A few days after the Wii was brought home, he invited some friends to his house to play along.
Ok, since I have mentioned about my neighbour's Wii. I'd also like to talk about something else which is slightly related, something part of my wish list.
WHEN CAN I GET MY PS3?!!
I was at the Sony one-day-only-2hrs-warehouse sales at Penang Han Chiang school this morning. The ad says there will be discount up to 80% on Sony products.
I was there early, reaching about 9.40am so parking was not a problem. Traffic was still ok but to my surprise, there was already a crowd at the hall entrance, waiting for the door to open. Not long after that, the door openned and people rushed in.
Inside, there are different booths/counters in the air-conditioned hall; one for PS3, 2 for accessory stuffs like memory stick, headphone, camera battery, filter, marine pack and etc, another counter for LCD TV, one for video cam, one for camera and another special booths for car audio player.
Some of the things I was interested:
PS3 console-only was selling at RM1699, not really cheaper compare to outside. Some more have to pay extra 3% for credit card transaction.
Sony Alpha DSLR. A300 priced at RM1999 and A350 was at RM2k plus, cannot remember the exact price. If add with the 3% transaction fee, I don't consider it as 'really cheap'. Furthermore, I'm still unsure if I wanted an Alpha or Nikon yet.
Sony Bravia Full HD LCD TV. This is a must have if I were to get a PS3. Damn expensive! Although from the displayed 'normal price' and the 'discounted price', it is indeed much cheaper, but I doubt the accuracy of the 'normal price' showed.
PSP RM899. Seems like a normal price to me :(
I was caught in a buy or no-buy situation with myself. And I took less than 10mins to decide that I should not get something out of a sudden desire. I should spend more time to think about it and plan over it financially. I have spent a lot of time thinking about these things that I wanted and I am ready to get them (mentally) but I'm not ready financially...
Alas, decided to go home. Traffic was really terrible by then, it jammed all the way to the main road of Jln Masjid Negeri.
