iListen iTouch iLuv
Lack of updates lately because I'm spending time with my new gadget.
I have always wanted an iPod nano, especially when the new, smaller generation was launch a few months ago. In Malaysia, a 4Gb Nano is selling for RM599. (if I remember correctly)
After visiting the Apple store here for a few times, playing with the iPod touch, I just couldn't resist it anymore. iPod nano 4Gb cost $149, iPod touch 8Gb cost twice as much at $299 but with twice as much storage capacity. iTouch also have wifi, which iPod nano doesn't have. My calculations showed that buying an iPod Touch would be more worth it. And this time, i follow my thoughts.
The interesting feature with iTouch is of course the multi-touch function. Other than that, the automatic rotate of photos and album cover when you turn it horizontally or vertically is amazing. Flipping photos and songs up and down is just so much fun.
If you have not watch the iPod touch video, watch it here.
With Wifi, it works perfect with the YouTube application. Now, I can just lie in my bed and surf the YouTube site for videos. Yesterday while I was in bed, I watched a video where a guy tried to scratch his iTouch with a blade and a key. Surprisingly, the front screen is unscratch-able.
I've been playing with it for 4days already. The one thing that I don't like about the iTouch is the reflective surface at the back of it. The mirror-like back is cool and all, but you can see finger prints all over it. Polishing it with the provided cloth doesn't help because as soon as you hold it in your hands again, your finger prints will surely be there.
Other than that, I'd say it's a great gadget. iLuv iTouch!
It's an early Christmas gift to myself :)
